This course refers to operational leadership - leading the action. The leadership referred to here is that required by supervisors, managers and executives over operational functions of their subordinates. There is nothing obviously charismatic about leadership associated with compliance, administrative, and other seemingly non-core but necessary activities. The startling news is that those firms that excel in these activities also excel where stake-holders want high performance. There is plenty of scope for or innovative and transformational leadership at every level between subordinates and their immediate boss - all levels.
