Clarifying Organisational Purpose
Our programs are research-based, results-driven, people-friendly
This workshop is designed to facilitate an exploration or a review of the core purpose of the organisation. Why does the organisation exist? Most organisations struggle with this question, but only when the purpose is established can strategic goals be set can strategies be formed - and only then can people base decisions on supporting those strategies.
Who would benefit?
This workshop is aimed at the senior executive group in your organisation – whether that is the Board of a large company, the senior executive group of a not-for-profit organisation, or the managers of a small to medium-sized enterprise. An adapted workshop can be used by the senior members of an autonomous division within your organisation as a preparatory step to developing a divisional plan.
Objectives
At the end of the workshop, participants will have developed a clear statement of organisational purpose that can be communicated to stake holders and will form the basis of the strategic planning process, particularly in the development of goals and review of overall structure.
Key topics covered
- Introduction to organisational purpose
- Stake-holder mapping and analysis
- Balancing the organisational view of purpose
- Setting the scene for alignment
