Better Decision Making
Managers and leaders make decisions every day (sometimes all day) and their decisions are scrutinized by the senior executive and by their own team members. This workshop is about using a logical decision-making framework to improve both the process and others’ reactions.
Who will benefit?
Managers and executives across a wide range, whether new to leading a team or experiencing increasingly ambiguous situations, will benefit from this workshop. These decision-makers can be helped by processes that are rational, vigilant, and avoids over-complicating simple challenges while also avoiding oversimplifying complex situations. The workshop explores the tools for flexible decision making options. Delegates are invited to bring a difficult decision scenario - preferably real and current.
Outcomes
At the end of the workshop, delegates will be able to outline the process of decision making, and to apply these steps to identified problems. They will be able to use the psychology of decision making and know the difference between deferral and procrastination. They will have gained real skills and greater confidence in their decision making. Delegates will be applying the skills learned in their work and demonstrate measurable changes in their decision-making in action.
